You have not given other details regarding disease, age, business etc.
You have no other problem after treatment so don't worry, but ensure that the acupuncturist is needling skillfully.

Yes,.. that is absolutely normal to experience tingling in your limbs while recieving acupuncture. .. What is happening is that your "Chi",.. or Life Force is being freed-up by the needles being inserted into specific points on the body and the Chi is beginning to flow more strongly. ... The blood flow will increase as a direct result of the increase in the flow of Chi (pronounced "chee"). ..... This is a very good thing and is the pre-cursor to healing and balancing. .... Enjoy.

I had acupuncture during my labour (natural) to help widen my cervix, it worked but where they put the needle on my foot felt a little tingly for a while after and had quite dry skin for some time afterwards . It really does work though.

it's a good sign. did they ache too? that's good.

when the acupuncturist puts the little needles in you, he puts them in places that the energy paths are. if there is a 'build up' of energy (tensness), it will come out of the needles. i know, weird stuff, but it's true. that's what causes the aching and tingling. at least, that's what i learned.

when you're done you should feel relaxed and almost 'reset'. acupuncture really does work.

I just had my first ever session yesterday and felt exactly the same, but only down one side. It was pretty odd and apparently not everyone feels it. I don't know what yours is for but hope it goes well.
Let me know - email on profile.

I always think of tingles as qi that is moving around.
