Are all the young innocent girls in Iraq gonna get freely raped by the muslims? Now that the protetion is gone, or will be soon, what's gonna happen to them? What's gonna happen to our boys and girls coming back from the war, knowing now, because of the majority of us saying: you did all this for nothing, we don't care about repressed people, we don't care about dictated lifestyles, and, Oh, by the way, you are still free in America, but the people you were protecting over in Iraq are no longer worth the dirt they stand in. I wonder how they will feel when China decides to take command. Will Hillary be the president then? What will she do? Just a thought. Ron Couch, Riverside, California.

Gosh, Ron, I used to live in California, and I had no idea there were no newspapers or news shows in Riverside. Otherwise, you might realize that Iraqi officials now state the 150,000 Iraqis have been murdered on our watch. How exactly did we help them? 1,000,000 Iraqi families have been forced to abandon their homes. How exactly did we help them? Sunni and Shiite deathsqauds room the streets, killing randomly, and we have proven ourselves powerless to even slow them down (our "crackdown" in Baghdad led to INCREASED violence and killing). And every poll of THE IRAQIS THEMSELVES show that vast majorities think the US is doing more harm than good in their country, and that America should fully withdraw from their country immediately.
Ron, you are clearly one of those nitwits who thought we be greeted as liberators. It's time to quit clinging to your delusions and accept reality.

Good morning.
1. The majority of the "innocent girls in Iraq" ARE Muslim. Our soldiers are not there to keep them from being raped and doubt they have taken this role upon themselves. They are too busy doing their real jobs. So no more nor no less innocent Iraqi girls will be raped than before.
2. Our soldiers will still be appreciated. A new direction in our Iraq policy is required as the current policy has not worked & in fact has destroyed not only the former Iraqi military & government but also Iraqi society in general.
3. "China decides to take command" ? Now that is just bizarre! I don't see that happening.
4. Will Hilary be president? Who knows but I don't think so. If she is elected it is because the radical right wing Republicans of the current administration drove the American voters to seek a change. The current administration is so radical Hilary may be seen as being more middle ground.

Well, the troops come home gonna be asking questions why did they get set to Iraq on cooked infomation by rummy, cheny, and crooked Millitary Contractors. Democrats won because the republican lost the center ground and started to waste taxpayer dollars on tv trying to save terry shivo how had less than 1% chance of getting out of coma. The troops did what thier country told them too and now its time to hold the planners in the pentagon and white house liable for poor intellegence gathering, and hold hearings to know why went to Iraq in the first place. I doubt WMD were the reason Bush went to Iraq. Since, Saddam was under UN inspection after 1991 invasion of Kuwiat, and Bush probadly wanted some cheap oil , I dont know but Iraq we wasted 2800 people serving, and thousands more injure for the cause. Afganistan those troops would of been better off stationed thier looking for Bin Laden than coming in to Invade Iraq.

If you have ever served your country in the armed forces, you would know that the military views are never expressed, and they are always warned...better not say anything. Your asking questions, but yet see only one side of the issues.....maybe you should ask the radical nations why they are so radical, and learn to throw rocks at each other before they learn to walk.
By the way, It was Bush whom said he was not into nation building, and wanted small government. Now the Gov is so big the average person is catching hell from all sides.
Under this Administration, its more like a dictatorship....go figure, and pass those compassionate pork chops

So you truly bought the idea of bringing democracy to Iraq?
Democracy is an ideal that must be fought FOR. It cannot be imposed.
Personally, I think keeping the crazies from controlling the oil supply is a better reason to stay in Iraq. And a more honest one.

The people of Iraq are ALREADY suffering from lack of public order. And how do you think our troops feel now knowing the majority of Iraqi people want them OUT?
Quit manufacturing what-ifs - the current situation is bad enough.

Of course not don't be ridiculous, a few seats political posts changed from Republican to Democrat. It is tantamount to saying the Cincinnati Bengals are still in the running to win the super bowl.
