I'm tired of constantly having car problems no matter what car I get, but I don't want to take two buses to work. Should I get a different job closer to my house, or should I move and live closer to my job? Right now, I love my house and I love my job too. Which one is the better decision? I'm thinking about moving closer to my job--like maybe getting rid of my car and moving right across the street from work.

I think that if you love both, then perhaps you should try to car pool before losing either one. If that doesn't work then it seems you'ld rather move then lose your job, so try that. You may end up finding another house you love! Keep your job, it's not as easy to find work you love!

I'm in a similar situation like you're in, only I have no car yet. I've been looking for jobs to take me downtown by a bus or locally. I would advise you to find a job locally, or find a job that has a one-bus route. If things don't turn out, maybe you should move closer to work. My brother did this spring, when he moved to be a town closer to where he works, instead of having a long-commute. As for your car, have your car looked at by a mechanic to see if he can fix the problem. You might have to buy a new car if it can't be fixed.

if you love your job and love your house too, then why not save up for a good down payment on a reliable car, and tough out riding a bus for a month or so. 8 out of 10 time if someone moves to a new home and really like their old one they will end up disliking the new one. 9 out of 10 times if a person loves a job and go to a different job they regret it, the job thing ive seen many times in my work place.

Which could you do without more, your house or your job? Would you want to move to a different house? or would you prefer just to change your job? The answer is up to you.

I would say though, according to my life, at work you are just another number!!

If you really love your job, I would move. Job's you love are hard to come by, but you can always find another house you love.
