Not me. The ending of a war is determined on the battlefield, not with what happens in a political election.

I hope the Dems realize that troops should be withdrawn when the job is done -- not when it's politically expedient for them.

That's what happened in Vietnam -- the antiwar left convinced our leaders that we had to leave, they convinced our country that we were in a "quagmire," and millions of Vietnamese and Cambodians soon became dead or exiled as a result.

A hasty withdrawal from Iraq would yield similar results.

The war won't be over as long as there is a republican in the white house. IF the democrats win in 08 THEN we will see an end to the war...unless someone find a way to override the 22nd amendments and he gets to stay (something that they ahve been trying to do for a while) although with the Dems in congres...that isn't as likely as it was 2 weeks ago.

The war will not be over for a long time,but hopefully a different strategy will help.If the Iraqi people do not stop fighting among themselves we will need to get out!!
