No ... I have a Honda VTX. The only thing I have to do is change the oil and put gas in it. Sell the HD and spend half the money on a more reliable bike and spend the savings on chrome or your wife or girlfriend or both.

Just a bit of advice. Fork locks have only so many keys. I have a friend who had his HD stolen. Thiefs have numerous keys and just keep trying them until one unlocks the fork lock. Your best defense is a good lock through your rotor on your wheel.

Yes. On my '06 Superglide. It sticks like crazy, have to wiggle & jiggle both the key and fork to get it to engage & disengage. I didn't bother getting it fixed under warranty, 'cause I hardly ever use it. 4 dogs in the yard is enough discouragement for most thieves.

Two of my friends have.
It seems that if you let the forks fall over to the stop with the key in the lock, it flattens the key out, making it difficult to remove from the lock. Once you get it out of the lock, you can not reinsert it.

Yes, a 2006 Street Bob. I was renting one form the dealer and he was showing me how it worked and it didn't really work. A few of the Harley techs tried to figure it out but they decided it must have never worked and I wouldn't need it since it had the security system.
