Yes it's the worst movie ever made. It makes "Sorority Babes at the Slime Ball Bowl-A-Rama" look like "Gone With the Wind"!

It's a flawed film that could have been great with a little more effort. The opening shots of Mega City One are great, even better if you saw them on a big screen in the cinema. There's some good sci-fi stuff about how crime is so bad in the future that cops are now judge, jury and executioner that try criminals on the spot.
Stallone was well cast, but the script was terrible. It's way too short, ends much too quickly and is too derivative of Blade Runner and Star Wars. Oh and they should have got Joe Pesci instead of Rob Schneider.

For a start it's Judge Dredd, not dread. It is not a bad film, it just does not appeal to you. I think American Pie is the worst film ever, but I understand that for some strange reason, it seems to be popular with a number of other people.
That's what opinions are all about.

No, the worst film ever is Inspector Gadget with Matthew Broderick or Ladies in Lavender with Dame Judi Dench. Terrible....

You need to understand the difference between a crap film and a film so terrible, it's funny.
"Judge Dread" falls into the latter catagory, and because of that wretched acting, ludricrious situations and overwrought dialogue.
The fight between Ilsa the scientist and Hershey the Judge
Ilsa: Biitch!
Judge Hershey: [Hersey headbutts Ilsa] JUDGE BIITCH!
This is so rich!

no not really, for a laugh why not look at the IMDB Bottom 100 for some real horrendus crimes against humanity. Santa With Muscles appears to me to be the worse, though can't stand Wayan Brothers Films annoying bastards, The Fast And Furious tripe angers me, any film with the words 'Segal' 'Starring' & 'Steve', and any film directed by Paul W. S. Anderson.

I know a guy who was an extra in that film. He was only about 10 or 11 at the time.

It's bad all right, but not the worst. Not by a long shot. Have you seen "Beerfest"? Christ on a bike that's bad.
Mind you, I'm a bit biased because I'm an extra in Judge Dredd. You see me getting kicked in the face by one of the other judges (if you look REALLY hard like I did).

Judge Dredd is perfect for Stallone with his deadpan personality lol.
I dislike films with actors who cannot do proper accents. At least Ewan Macgregor did ok on Star Wars with Obi Wan
Its- Mary Poppins chimney sweep Dick Van Dkye with his silly accent. And Gene Kelly (I do not mind his dancing) in Brigadoon.Damn its awful to hear that. There are many others, but I cannot think of more, so I am sure others out there can think of some.
Oh yeah...and CONAIR with Nicolas Cage catchphrase. "PUT THE BUNNY DOWN" haha
