Homologous organs are anatomically similar and similar in embryonic origin but they may or may not perform the same function. For example, wings of bat, flapper(flipper) of whale, forelimbs of horse and hand of man. These are all made up of humerus, radio-ulna, carpals, metacarpals, and phalanges which are derived from embryonic mesoderm. But these organs are used for flying, swimming, running, and handling of tools, correspondingly.
Analogous organs are those that are anatomically dissimilar, dissimilar in embryonic origin, but they perform the same function. For example, the wings of bat and wings of insects. The wing of bat has bones derived from mesoderm, whereas the wing of insect is derived from ectoderm and is made up of cuticle.

Another definition is from an evolutionary point of view, where homologous means that the organs present in two species arrived from a common ancestor. In this sense, analogous would mean that organs that have the same function evolved seperately in different organisms.

homo means similar so, homologus organs are the ones similar in origin.while analogus organs have different origin but now have evolved over time to show the same basic function.forelimb of bat and human have similar bone structure bt have different function..so homologus organs

According to the information which i've got which will be simple foir u i believe is thet "homologus organs are the ones that have the same type of origin and development but are entirely different in their functions. for eg.. The fore limbs of we the humans, the birds and the frogs have the same structure of two bones and the origin but are entirely different in the functions as u know.
The analogus organs are that which have the same function that is in a bird and an insect the wings are common which are used fro flying but as u know they are made of different components such as with feathers, bones and flesh for a bird and a single fold of membrane for an insect..........

They are organs that are similar, but not the same in two species. Usually they have the same embryological origin. In humans, men and women have homologous organs. For example, the labia majora and scrotum both come from the same embryological origin.
