We could do much worse, like another Bush.

It was quite evident in this last election time frame that the base needs to energized to vote. Quite a few disgruntled registered Republicans either voted Dem or didn't bother to vote at all. All the polls show how popular Hillary Clinton is with the Dems or some general public being polled. However the Republican base can't stand her. If she is the Dem nominee it will energize the base Republicans and she will be defeated. If the Dems want the Presidency in '08 they need a well know but not polarizing figure.

Given the odd number of sudden and questionable deaths of Clinton acquaintances, I think that if she runs as V.P. to Obamma, he'll be dead within a year and she will assume the office. Not saying necessarily that the Clinton family would have anything to do removing the president, but it's been a long time since some wack job has fired a shot at a sitting president.

She's still a "babe" in the political field. Not much prior experience when you think about it. People generally don't succeed with one term of office as a state Senator.

The way the trend is, Democrats will be the ruling party for a while, but if the party does not choose the right candidate, we'll be sitting on Republicans again. My answer is no.

I don't think so. My money is on a dark horse governor - specifically, Warner out of Virginia. Hillary would be a marked improvement over what we've had the last 6 years, but she tries to be all things to be all things to all people, and I don't think that plays very well.

And besides, a lot of the GOP are still upset over all the peace and prosperity we "suffered" through under Bill, and would never vote for her.

Hell No! When the Clinton's did their Royal Presidential tour in Australia, they committed fraud against the Australian Commonwealth by printing letters with the seal of the Commonwealth Government without consent. Look at criminality, look at the criminals Billie Boy pardoned.

There is no real choice in politics. If everyone stayed in bed and nobody voted, they would be stuffed.

No
The Democrats would lose with her..and the powers that be..know it.
The Democrats will present a VERY strong candidate in 2008 ..someone like Obama perhaps, or John Edwards.

Personally, after seeing Jim Webb of Virginia acceptance speech I would vote for him in a heartbeat if he was the Democratic nominee. I think he is a class act and a good man.
