digiweb is just under 20 euro a month for unlimited use, they come out and up with an aeriel, takes about 3 wks. irish broadband sends you out a modem box in the post in less than 5 days for 18.95 a month. an american company called clearwire does next day connection in dublin for less than 20 amonth. i'm with digiweb no problems so far, only drawback was it took a month to get connected nearly cancelled for irish broadband

Hi,

There are a number of options for you, a really good place to start is at http://getbroadband.ie/ simply pop in Clontarf as your area and it will inform you of your options for broadband.

Eircom are not the greatest, but most other companies lease their lines from them and so it comes back to Eircom in the end.

The site above anyhow will also give you links to the providers sites where you'll find special offers etc as well.

HTH

PS I was with Smart Telecom, which for everything other than how they deal with contracts were great. However, with the problems going on, stay away ;)

Forget Eircom and go to an Irish chat page on Yahoo.co.uk and ask the question more of an audience. Eircom are a shower of thiefs

I have Irish Broadband and there was no connection fee, no fee for the modem etc and is only 18.99 euro a month. Very Reasonable!
