Sometimes in writings, sometimes in teachers, but always in the heart. Not the brain.

Does this mean i have to pray to the Law of Gravity now?
Fact: the human race has been around for hundreds of thousands of years.
Fact: the concepts of an afterlife, of gods, spirits, etc. have only been around for a few millenia.
Fact: these concepts were invented and promulgated by ignorant barbarians as an attempt to explain the world around them, before there was a such thing as science or epistemology.
Fact: most of the books of the bible were written by people who were never there, as second- or third-hand accounts decades or even centuries after the events they claim to tell about.
Fact: the books of the bible have been heavily edited over the centuries, with passages or even whole books being re-written or omitted to fit the theological and political climates of the time.
Fact: the books of the bible have also been subject to extensive errors, misinterpretations, and differences of opinion in interpretation as they are translated from one language to another and from that to yet another language.
Knowing all this, how can ANY religion be viewed as anything BUT the invention of men?

the question is a bit unclear but from my understanding of what you were asking,i think they originate from the bible, which is open for interpretation according to the situation and because everything has to have a source, like the fact that someone had to establish that the chair was made for sitting and not for sleeping,i think that source or where the rules are found in this instance was the bible and then once the rules are established its from what you see because you'll now have some knowledge and understanding.

It is quite clear that all text, of which the bible is an instance, is also "coded" in so much as coded means that the object of observation requires interpretation. The fact that thousands of Christian sects and exponentially more biblical interpretations exist is a testament to the "coded" nature of the textual medium.
Text is severed from context via time, translation, historo-cultural gaps, individual interpretation, and the non-explicit intentions and perceptions of the author.

this will be better understood by human process:
God's rules in the bible are transmitted in neurally hardwired messages...and associations...which relate to common human thought process patterns and experiences...whith the goal of hardwiring the "laws" to the appropriate "emotions" set forth by nature....which also serve the same purpose as the laws of the bible and were the inspirerers of such laws (nature and bible both aim at preservation of society)...
so the "uncoded" logic...transmits to a coded logic of the neural subconcious of the brain...which, upon association of stories with emotion...
gives, the 'laws' of nature, which were already there....a "picture" or "name" which is presented verbally in the bible...which could be said to slowly "reveal" to you this constitution....--and if you are human...these emotions, surprisingly, always bring up the same associations and reveal this "hidden constitution" which is very 'coded' and "standardized" if you are to look at it from the human emotional background...if your human, you can associate with the inherent meaning in the stories--they incite an emotion from you, mainly for justice...usually the same exact feeling, despite what race of human you are...and all this...from otherwise, muddled logic and random stories.(amazing!)...thus, the bible, is a 'coded/uncoded' bridge connector so the person is conciously aware of 'god's laws' ---not to be found in a concious coded constitution manner, but through subtle inference...brought to light, by stirred emotions...which bring up the "hidden coded emotional constitution"
emotions are like the highlighter that reveal the hidden message...
what happens, is that sometimes the inference is lost with age and time....the original meanings distorted...and the wrong message delivered in the "concious/unconcious" duality.....
also---in today's society...where coded logic is all concious....humans have attempted to interpret the bible in many ways through concious coded logic...when they fail to recognize, the simple and barren truth, that its just an uncoded series of stories that have a "moral" to them....just as any person may use words or phrases loosely in a story to convey a message...every single word is not to be taken to be coded...but simply a stimulater in helping bring up the emotional constitution of all humanity.....hardwired...and given words...the first time...in religious contexts...
so although the very words themselves may not be 'exact' the 'in between the lines' is very very 'exact' and constitution like if you are hardwired like a human...it just takes you to read the whole passage....and take it as one...not every word as one...and then you will see the unity in the bible, and see there are no contradictions...if you take the words to be one...your only association will be limited literal stories...which will convey contradiction, and loss of purpose.

Paul in the bible says their are three heavens. He was called up to the third and heard unspeakable things. Now if one would study they would find what the three heavens are.
First Atmosphere - Bible refers to birds and clouds as being in a heaven
Second The begining of space.- The bible refers to stars and moons and sun as being in a Heaven.
Thrid After space is GOD's Domain. - This is the only space left since it is the thrid.

God's rules are written in nature. When man violates nature he pays for it with his own life.
