how are they different from Filipinos, Malaysians, Bruneians and the East Timorese. They all look the same. i'm just asking 'cause i'm curious. :p

What are you talking about? *Malaysians* look like Chinese, Indians and native Malayans. I don't think you can distinguish anything on the basis of nationalities in that region. "Polyglot" kind of sums up several of those countries.
I've met a couple of Indonesian women, and they've been very nice people. So have the Filippinos and Malaysians I've met. So I think you are right -- they are all the same, and well worth knowing (-:.
