Forget what you heard. Whatever you do, don't tell sis. She'll be heartbroken.

However, remember one thing- if sis wants to be a lawyer and she passed that examination, your parents will have egg all over their faces, won't they?

When that happens, then i would tell them how wrong they were!

Yes, it's very important to have moral support and moltivations! Just imagine you're alone in your world, so empty and helpless, you definitely need someone there to give you some support and moltivation to carry on and strive further! If not, you'll somehow collapse down and you'll not strive anymore as you think that's the end, no need to try! I suggest you to try to talk to your parents and let them know emotional and mental support and moltivation is important and is an essential factor to anyone. If the 2 factors are not important, why does everyone needs encouragement and support? Why married couples need each other's support? This is because everyone or anyone needs that so we can carry on what we want to do and strive for the better! A word of encouragement can always help someone to be better. Of course you must also ask your parents why makes them think your sister can't go far? Understand what are their standing grounds & concerns and why are they thinking like that? They may also have their reasons. After that, talk to them nicely and tell them your sister really hopes to study law and have intention of becoming a lawyer. Ask them to give her some moral support! Don't put her down like that coz they'll never know if your sister's going to be someone great! Let them know if they don't give her a chance, they'll probably never know how great she'll turn into someday. Anyway, let your sister know about it and see what you can do for her, so you can put good words for her in front of your parents! I'm glad you're a nice brother and your sister is lucky to have you as a great support! All the best to you and your sister!

I would just ignore what you heard. I would not repeat this to my sister. I'm not sure why your parents would say such a thing. That is very sad! Maybe they just want her to go in one direction and are disappointed that she went in a total opposite. Telling her would only hurt her feelings. Sometimes even parents say and do things that are not right. However, they probably feel justified in their feelings and ideas. Good luck and God bless

Take a chill pill....you were eavesdropping whether you intended to or not. What difference does it make what you do? Do you think that your going to change the test results by fretting about the conversation you overheard?

It's your sister's life. Support her and that's all you can do. She has to make the choices and work hard to get what she wants.
