I live in Australia and I have had a few unfortunate run ins with the local wildlife
1 bitten on the backside by a red back spider while on the toilet at a nature reserve. Time spent in hospital 30 minutes getting a shot.
2 kicked in the back by a kangaroo while drunk at chrismas BBQ no time in hospital but pride completely shattered
3 stepped on crown of thorns starfish. Time in hospital 1 day. but I was unable to walk properly for about 2 to 3 months. The shape of the nails on my left foot have changed slightly. Interestingly if you are ever unfortunate enough to step on one of these abominations flip it over and place whatever body part was stung over it's mouth and it will suck it's own poison out
4 attacked by emu at wildlife reserve. My brother put seed in my hair and the Emu proceeded to peck the hell out of my head. Recently re-assembled pride destroyed again, No time in hospital but I have a few scars, emotional as well as physical.

Well, we'll call it local wildlife but I've actually been bitten by spiders on three occasions. I haven't turned into spiderman however! The Yard Spider gave me a nasty bite when I picked up a box in the garage, a female woodlouse spider was hiding in my tracksuit top & gave me a fierce bite on the neck. These both happened in Ireland where the experts say that poisonous spiders don't exist (but they are wrong) I was also bitten on the leg in Cyprus by a Mediterranean Funnel Web (not as nasty however as its Sydney cousin) Hospital - no time at all but they were far more unpleasant than a wasp or bee sting. Sorry cannot report any major bear, wolf or tiger attacks!

Hi,
i got bitten on the shoulder by a dog (an alsation) and had to go to hospital for an injection and stitches, scratched in the eye by a cat (also had to go to hospital and they put dye in my eye to check it was ok, it was but I had to wear a patch for about a week, just like a pirate) and I have had my foot troden on by a horse when I was cleaning its hoofs out, that hurt a lot but I just put my foot in ice water for a while and I had some major bruising but luckly no broken toes!
So animal not my strong point! Luckly I now have a cat who actually likes me.

I live in Spain and we have mini scorpions. I was walking through a rough patch of ground when one bit me on the back of my leg.
It took 3 months for my leg to recover and it has left an area about 4 inches in diameter that is still discoloured. Just got over this when I broke the same leg!

When I was a young girl, we used to live in the country, and there are always something flying around.Well, when I was playing outside by a tree I didn't see the hornets nets that was in it.I got stung by a hornet right in the face.Luckily I'm not allergic to bees, but my mom did put on onion on my face to get the swelling down.

I got bitten by a ferret once. Right on my bottom lip. Locked it's jaws and everything. Looked like some form of enlarged furry peircing.
No time spent in hopsital though. Just a tetanus jab.

i've been scratched by a cat, bitten by a dog, and stung by a bee. i was never hospitalized though since none of them were fatal. the bee sting however was really painful. it was a big bumble bee that stung me, so my kindergarten teacher had to treat my stung eye and elbow with a cottonball soaked in hot tea. ever since, that has always been the remedy i suggested to those with sores, burns and stings.

I stepped on a cobbler in W. Aus. The sting hurt like hell and swelled up so my foot was huge but the doctor just soaked in really hot water and gave me strong painkillers, It was ok by the next day
