You can set up a station on-line and run an internet service, all you need are PRS and PPL agreements, which can be agreed by e-mail.

Aside of that, anything on AM or FM would have to be illegal, unless you wanted to aply for one of the new UK Community Radio licennces. See www.Ofcom.org.uk for details

It would cost a fortune in licences and royaltys. Plus loads of equipment staff and sorting out the ads then getting people to listen. It can be done and I know how to build a radio transmitter from a A2 course but if I actually made it it would be pirate.

So it can be done but only if your very lucky
