I recently heard that this person with InterPol (International Police) Red Corner notice - Prachanda aka Pushpa Kamal Dahal - has been invited to speak at an International media conference (organized by Indian newspaper Hindustan times) where some biggies are invited to speak...this person has murdered 15,000 innocent Nepalis and recently hijacked power in Nepal (with Indian support) along with some downright dirty & corrupt politicians there. This person has vowed with his Indian Maoist counterparts (Naxalites) to make South Asia "burning Red (communist) field". You may want to read articles by former US Security person Thomas A Marks regarding these dirty terrorist Maoists. Don't you think it is high time that India stopped funding and encouraging such terrorists? If Prachanda can speak in India...I guess Osama/Lashkar e Toiba and all should surface and be invited as guest speakers in Pakistan and Iran and North Korea. What do you guys say?

I need people with understanding of this matter to reply. From outside it seems like a disgusting facet of India to us.

Funny that some of the Indians are coming here and supporting their government's support for terrorism in India. Although I know many Indians who do not support their government's stand.

Monarchy was and is the most popular thing in Nepal. What you Indians have done exactly is spread the insurgency in Nepal and then brought the corrupt politicians and terrorists of Nepal together to fight against the King? Your government did this because King of Nepal is the only person who will not bow down to the expansionist ideas of India. He won't let Indians have a puppet government in Nepal. You spread the insurgency in Sikkim back in the 60s and 70s. You managed to have a controlled government in Bhutan and now that the King of Nepal didn't want to be a slave of Indians, you spread the insurgency. Do you think that the rest of us in the world are blind? No we aren't and Prof. Marks isn't blind either:

Indians did a similar deadly insurgency thing in Sri Lanka (LTTE) and they do it till this date in Bangladesh - spread violence.

The problem for Nepal is that it is a landlocked country and so India can put an embargo if anything Nepal does is not liked by India. Now, that Nepal is being ruled by terrorists (murderers of 15,000 innocent people) some Indians are happy because they have a puppet government in Nepal. Isn't this an entire shame and hypocracy on the part of Indians?

But back to the topic: Prachanda terrorist is just being invited by the Indians so that they can facilitate him for the part he played in killing Nepalis and leading a pathetic unpopular movement against the then Democratic government . What you heard in media was all fabricated stories to support the view that Indians wanted to spread. Terrorists and communists (of Nepal) don't follow democracy. Damn it. Wake up you supporters of terrorism or be cursed to face the same yourself.

Prachanda is a mass murderer, liar, and corrupt.

The people of India need to pressure the gov't to keep him out, arrest him, or kill him. He's that bad!

Nepal is a friend of India , and the only Hindu nation in the world
Its in Indias best interest to ensure peace and progress of this friend

Maoists present a problem both to India and Nepal and this scourge should be fought together . However In Nepal , its important to put an end to the war through political dialogue first . Inviting Prachanda is a part of this process , Maoism errupted due to the high handedness of the Nepalese monarchy and the non assimilation of the poor section of the Nepalese people in the mainstream . Its important to engage Maoists in dialogue rather making them part of a solution rather than the problem

For bringing down the ruthless and an irresponsible monarchy that played on the lives of millions of the Nepalese, the communists in Nepal are eminently responsible. He deserves our appreciation, not only for the movement against monarchy, but for having the sense to participate in the government being formed after the fall of the monarchy, which no leader of the armed struggle did in the recent history. Kudos to him and Swagatham to India.

It should be discouraged but giving power to him in Nepal government can't be denied. Becoz he is much powerful in his country by his strong force and guerrilla attacks.
