yes. of course........ y not..... just we have to get the combination right..............
our batting is gr8..... just the bowlers need to fire.....
bringing in powar would help
leave kaif and raina in the dressing room and bring back laxman
sreesanth, munaf and pathan would be the ideal bowling combination 2gether wid the spinners bhajji and powar
and we have sehwag and yuvi 4 backup as well...............
we cant jus give up and loose the game before even playing........
we have to perform and a little shuffling can really help...
play intellegent
we will win 4 sure..........

Consider a scenario where India is one of the finalists in the 2007 World Cup. If the other finalist is Australia, India would need an awful lot of luck and optimism to defeat them and lift the cup. Else Australia must have a terrible run of poor luck on that day. So its 'NO' for India in the 2007 World Cup. Indian team is in shambles and improvement is necessary in so many departments, coaching being the top priority. Time is too short to plug all the holes in the team.

Since cricket is a game of uncertainties, nothing can be predicted for sure about the outcome of a tournament in advance.
As far as the world cup is concerned, it is all the more difficult to make any prediction at this stage as it is not at all know who are the players representing each team and what will be their performance at the time of World Cup.
In view of gthe above, the safe prediction one can make at this stage is that any of the top 8 Teams in cluding India is capable of winning the world cup.

Well man sure. What to worry when we have australian chappal giving us the speed and dada sitting out in the sun. Why not when we can't even qualify for semifinals of champions trophy and get thrashed by teams ranging from bangladesh to australia.
We are surely gonna win the cup one day because "Hum honge kaamyab ek din, Chaahe Jhoote hon vishwaas, toote na ye aas, Hum jeetenge woh cup ek din". Well were you talking about Indian blind cricket team.... ha.ha.ha. Just joking....

Thanks to Rahul, Chappel & BCCI selectors for their well advance warning to indian spectators and fans- ""do not depend on us "" !!!!!! Our Indian team proved very well in Champions trophy where we stands for the coming world cup.
No more expectations from this bunch of great professionals - team, coach and selectors.
After a big failure in Champions trophy no professionals are worring about world cup. No major changes in the team, only few warnings (just for the sake of self relaxation) !!!!!!!!! What they are trying to prove is absolutely unpredicatable ? Would you think can we win next world cup ?
Australians lost one match from West Indies in Champions trophy, had you noticed what was their body language in next two matchs with England and India. And what we did after West Indies match, played an very ordinary style cricket with Australia World Champions.
God may give better luck to Indian team for w/c,07.

They are 2 things, "present Indian Team" and "future" how much time have you given the team?If it's 2007 WC we do have a chance provided lot of other things are in place like ideal climate, great pitches and ofcourse the form. So we are talking about a lot of variables here including the time in your question

not exactly but they are capable enough to qualify for the quarterfinals, there are certain changes needed where in an experienced middle order batsmen, a quality hitter with a tidy pacemen.
Ganguly for Raina
Gambhir for Kaif
Nehra for any one like Sreesanth

IN CRICKET NOTHING CAN BE SAID FOR ANY TEAM. THE CRICKET IS GAME OF POSSIBILITIES. HERE ANY BODY CAN DO ANYTHING ONE CAN OUT ON ZERO IN FIRST INNING BUT DOUBLE HUNDRED IN SECOND INNING. SO WE CANNOT SAY NO.
