He is saying this because it means he does not have to hurt anyone's feelings. I was in a situation where I dated a man for a year who was not seeing anyone else, but he always had to make a point how he found other women attractive. Most of these women had blonde hair and hazel eyes and I have dark hair and dark eyes. It became so blatant that he was "Just Not that Into Me" that even some of the people we hung out with began to call him on his comments about other women. One day I was watching the news before work and I heard about this book called "He Is Just Not That Into You." It is a light read, but it helped to confirm things I already knew and had a hard time admitting. The authors of this book state that a man is "just not that into you" if he dates other women or pay way too much attention to them. You can go to amazon.com and read reviews about this book if you want more opinions than just mine, but I am just sharing a few things that helped me. You deserve a man that will only have feelings and a heart for you :)

It is not possible. The truth is that he either loves you because you are more accessible to him or that he needs sex. Just let him. It is always dangerous to go out with a guy that is already in a relationship because his heart would not totally be with you. Also, if he says he love you now and later both of start dating, how are you such that he will not do the same thing to you by dating another girl?

YOU tell me! According to your last question, YOU are ALSO seeing two people. You claim you've been engaged 9 years, and now seeing this guy at work for the last 4 years...hmmm....Can a girl love two guys at the same time? Man, both of you are messed up. Forget the guy at work. He's got a GIRLFRIEND, AND YOU'VE GOT A FIANCE! Grow up!

Personally, I don't think that's possible. And, I think today in society, we throw around the word "love" so freely. First of all, I don't think it would be fair to either woman for you to say that you love them or are devoted to them, when you're not. It sounds to me like you're unsure of what to do, and you need to decide. Playing with people's emotions is a very tricky thing and many people come out very hurt or mentally scarred because of a bad experience. When you love someone, you don't want to hurt them. And, although we can't help the way things take their courses of actions sometimes, we can prevent situations, like these, where many parties are suseptible of getting hurt. Be real with yourself. Be real with these women. Once you have your mind made up and you know exactly what you want, go from there. But, until then, don't play with fire!

Can you love more than 1 friend at the same time? Family member? Yes, you can love 2 women at the same time if you allow yourself...problem is that you usually have to choose 1.
