I have a friend but sadly she doesn't have so many friendsand its obvious because she's prettier than most of the girls at school.People that don't even know her call her names like slut and whore. I on the other hand am different, i don't like it when they are mean to her and i stand up for her, but this is getting on the bad side of my friends, because they too don't like her and are constantly telling her that she is a *****. I've tried to keep them in the same room and bring up conversation, but they just fight and gossip.
They gave me an altermatum,its either them or her.
I lobe my pals,but i don't wanna lose my other friend too. I seem to be the only person that sees her for what she is,she isn't a slut and i admire her strength.
What should i do? Should i leave my friends and chill with her,or should i ignore her like everyone else.

i think it is better if you donot say anything about her when you are with other friends who doesnot like her... donot try to convince others that she is good girl or anything to defend her in front of others.. everyone has a right to form their own opinion whatsoever may be the reason..
you can hang out with both i think so far as you donot try to merge all of them together...
Why cannot you have more friends, u tell your frinends that yu want to be with them and spent time with them.. if they are your real friends i don't think they will try to impose or stop you ,so far you donot impose your opinion on them,,,

Hello!! :o) A tough situation - that's for sure. But if you accept your 'friends' ultimatum - they will OWN YOU!! Up to this point - you have been your own person. You have been courageous and independent. Don't give that up. Those are great qualities and the type of qualities that will serve you well as you get older. Huge dilemma!
If you ignore her,means that you are just like everyone else,SHALLOW MINDED!!
Time will prove everything,of course you might think,give up all my friends just because of that one person?
But do you know how much you meant to her?Besides,your friends are acting so childish,having a lot of friends doesn't make a better person and its obvious none of these friends of yours is your true friend because true friend see deeper than that and also will see from your point of view.
You are different and you are making a different to this person by being her friend.You might also get isolated if you keep chilling with her,but able to see your so-called-friend true color is worth it.
Quality is more important than quantity.

If your friends are true friends they would'nt give you an alternative, they should accept that you have other friends that they may not like. I would try explain to them that though they may not like this other girl this should not interfer with your friendship, u might want to keep your friends and this girl apart but if i was you continue your friendship with this girl - no one should tell you who u should be friends with - and im sure this girl must be feeling lonely, so dont follow what everyone else is doing make up your own mind!

it's a really difficult question, i really think that it was a GREAT thing to do to stand up for her. I think u should talk to one of ur friends which is not really putting u in so much trouble, that u can't just say that about her, be calm and cool, if ur friend still doesn't listen to u then, i think, they r just not true friends and definately not good-hearted ppl like u, leave 'em, it'll b very hard though, u'll make new friends, i'm sure, if u want me to b one, simply email me. Your friends sound like total BITCHES. Stand by your true friend. Anyone who would offer you an ultimatum because they dislike someone that you are friends with doesn't deserve to know you at all. Get rid of those selfish and immature jealous little bitches, and they'll come crawling back. Don't let them jeapordise your friendship with someone better than they could ever be.

well it think your friends are being very childish. they shouldnt make you chose like that. so what if she is prettier than other girls at school, this shouldnt make people not like her. It sounds like you and her have a good friendship. Could you not work it out so that you could spend time with her and your other friends seperately? Its kind off hard to tell you what to do when I dont know either the girl or your other friends personaly

If your friends are going to abandon you because you won't just dump a friend for them, then they are not genuine friends!! Stick with your new friend, it sounds like she needs you. If your friends don't want to hang out with you anymore then that is THEIR decision, not yours. And obviously, they don't value you very much if they would just ditch you like that for such a stupid reason. If you stick to your values and be a true friend to this girl, other people will notice and you will attract a whole new set of friends who value you for the loyal and caring person that you are.

if your friends cared about you they would leave the relationship you have with this other girl alone, and just be your friends when your not around her. You should talk to them about how this ultimatiom is not a cool thing to do and that friends dont make friends choose.

IF YOU ARE REAL THEN YOU WILL LET YOUR SO CALLED FRIENDS KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT GOING TO CHOOSE BETWEEN THE TWO OF THEM.
