Yes, I have seen many lights or objects in the sky on many occasions which I wasn't able to identify. The important thing is not to let your imagination run away with you!
99.9...% of the time there is a perfectly good explanation, even though it may not be apparent.
Near where I live there was a place which had frequent sightings of a long cigar-shaped object which would float across the sky about a mile away and appeared to have a series of lighted windows. It was reported several times in the local paper.
It turned out that, because of a temperature inversion, which happened quite often in that area, what people were seeing was the blurred inverted image of trains passing on the line about a mile away. The same effect is seen on hot summer days over tarmac or in the desert. It's called a mirage.

Yes, I have!
Only yesterday on my way to work I saw something which had me so transfixed, I nearly lost control of the vehicle.Captivating as it was, I'm willing to put it down as an unusual large aircraft of some kind, and terresterial.
However, during the summer this year I saw something, in the company of a friend, which I can't dismiss so easily.I have only ever told two people up until now.
It was a coastal location, somewhat removed and isolated.Myself and a friend had decided on a bit of time-out.Nowhere better than this spot.
Late one night, we decided on a stroll. It was quite a clear night, about 2am.We reached a point over-looking the sea and general area, atop a cliff-face.I am reluctant to go on, but I will.
We saw the same thing. What seemed like minutes, had passed of silence.I now found myself looking at what appeared to be a large glowing orange object-and it was getting closer.I side-glanced my friend and he was also looking skyward.
I noticed the waves beneath the sun-like object frothed as it neared.Closer and closer it got, worryingly close. My friend leapt up, camera-phone in hand."No, d'ont ,sit down" I said.Too late.
It reversed over it's original flight path and disappeared over a 200ft hilly cliff-top a mile or so away, leaving me wondering what might've been. The sea still surged and frothed for a bit, then eased.
I swear this is true, but ridicule me if it helps you ignore the possibilities.I am content with my account, though I don't claim to understand what I saw.Unidentified flying object though; yes, without a shadow of a doubt!

Many times. A UFO is an Unidentified Flying Object. It does not necessarily mean an alien space ship, merely something which is seen in the sky, for which there is no immediate explanation.
Two of the most common mistaken objects are Venus and weather balloons.

I have seen a couple of strange things, when i was about 8or9 me and my classmates were sitting in class listening to a story from teacher, she was sitting in front of a window which overlooked our playing field which had a row of trees along the edge, suddenly most of us saw some orange lights(5or6)dropping from the sky down behind the trees, teacher ignored us and wouldnt look, after school we went and had a look but nothing there anywhere.Could have been fireworks we thought but there was no noise at the time and no trace of spent fireworks.Still see it clearly today and am 34 now!

Maybe, I see lots of wierd thing, but my G/F always corrects me, I only have a little bit of sight left & lots of times I see things that arn't always what I see them as. I've seen things in the trees, animals that arn't there, & all kinds of strange happening, make for an interesting day though, except for the big man in a dress that works @ the super market, man he's ugly.

I've seen something.. It's traveling at the rate of 140mph, actually.. Amazing, isn't it? It's just that I'm not sure if it's a snowball or a flying-plate-from-a-house-of-a-quarreling-couple.

I thought I did once, when I was 15 or so. I remember it well, it was lunsh and we all were outside on a crisp fall day when I first spotted it from the corner of my eye. It was round and white....looked like it was breaking up in our atmosphere. As it got closer I then identified it...flying mash potatoes....DUCK!
