Does anybody know where I could get some or where I could get a pair altered? Don't really want to get a tailor made pair as I have been quoted £500! Thanks!

This year is the first time I've found a pair that stay up and don't flap like wellies.

They are a leather pair from Asda costing £40. They lace all the way up the front as well as having a side zip and they also have a buckle at the top of the leg to tighten the fit. So you might want to give them a go.

Uggs, for a casual look. And try stores like David Z, Macy's, and Lord and Taylor for boots with heels =]

Wear them over your jeans so they're a tighter fit. If your feet are up to a size five try kids ranges (tammy etc). Otherwise just make sure they're decent quality leather or firm materials so they don't fall down

I have skinny, large and tall mates who all shop here: http://www.bathshopping.com/duo.htm -mind you it is a bit of a trek but at least you get boots that fit. Good luck.

I'm short, so have trouble finding calf length boots that don't look kinky knee length!! LOL!

This shop does custom calf sizes on boots and they are in the £150 range.

They should have what you need.

Take up cycling; your calve muscles will increase in size, and then your boots will fit.

You will also feel better, and lose weight.
