No, in my opinion it is all malarkey.

yes i do believe in fortune telling.although i dont practice it i read tarot cards.and it really works also.tarot cards and fortune telling are about the same as the other.only difference is that you use the cards to read a person's life style, and fortune telling you look through a crystal ball.so yes to your question i do believe in fortune telling.

Depends on what you mean by fortune telling? But yes i belief in telling some things ahead of you that you dont know.
For example i got told that in 12wks time form reading there was going to be a celebration between me and my brother. Dead on 12wks out of the blue my brother got engaged!
So yes also been told other things that have happened.

Still slightly sceptical but I have had some tarot readings and know a clarivoyant lady and although some general stuff did come up there were also some spookily accurate predictions which did actually come to be ( i had written down details at the time), so I sort of believe in it.

even how much u say fortune telling is not true or whatever, we canot deny it.... everybody have their own ways, human likes mysterious things... something which make him wonder. and he come down infornt of any person who is superior in any means. but as in my religion, the fortune telling is being told, its nothing... no harm can come to you..... but well... it needs a long discussion in order to make all things clear, and what fortune actually means, and which things are fortune and which are not.

My wife's father had an aunty who could read the tea leaves. He always resisted her attempts to get his teacup off him, but one day he gave in. He was in his late 30's at the time and when his aunt had finished she went decidedly grey and wouldn't tell him what she'd seen. After much pressing she decided to reveal what was hidden in his cup - "You're not going to have a very long life, I'm afraid" was all she would say. He laughed it off.
He died aged 45 from a massive heart attack. His daughter (now my wife) was just 11 at the time.
So I guess there must be something in it all.

Yes and No.
It is totally true that a lot of it is a scam and not true.
I personally do read the Tarot and have seen it be completely true in many cases. I dont do it for money or as a job or anything so I am not a scamster. I was drawn to the cards and I do readings for my friends and family and they will call me to do a reading for them. Its a pretty amazing thing. The tarot can be used for good or for evil. I use it for good and dont charge for my services.

It helps with self knowledge. I am skeptical at it being actual fortune telling but rather a tool to understanding self and how self is situated in its society

No. If Fortune Tellers could foresee the future, do you think they would actually be still in that job?
