Well when my Daughter told me that she was gay, well actually I guessed, I said OK.

I don't talk about my sex life and she doesn't talk about hers, so nothing has actually changed in our lives. Even her Redneck brother is OK with it. (But he does have loving, humorous, gay jokes)

People that condemn you for what you are, are often folks who know little or nothing about the Bible, God or the soul.

Then there are those that quote you the scripture frontward and backward as it suits them to do so. They are good a memorizing passages but often poor and understanding the words or using in correct context.

Remember, the Devil can quote the Bible!

In the end you know in your heart what kind of person you are. God will take care of the rest in the end, and that includes deal with those that cause others pain here and now.

Personally, I laugh at them because I don't believe that way. Hell is on earth. Heaven is too. I have always believed more in the golden rule. But if you want, any loving god loves their children and forgives them. Peter denied Jesus 3x was still forgiven. The bible is so full of contradictory statements that all I can say is, I guess we'll all find out now when we die, won't we? So I say, live this life the best way you can, it may or not be the only one you get.

Your relationship with God is private and personal. A human being CANNOT condemn you for anything. Mankind is not worthy of passing eternal judgement. If you are comfortable with your life, and comfortable with your relationship with God, then that is all that matters.

I tell them I don't believe in that kind of judgment. They haven't walked in my shoes to understand that I was born this way and God doesn't make junk!!
Also, I recall that it says to judge not, lest ye be judged. LOVE is the only law that matters.

Listen to God. Not what the people tell you. What I mean is go to the source and make your own judgment. Its as good as anyone who is human like you.
