I talk against these people who stereotype all the time----------that Islam is a good religion, and etc.,. But, our news media will not let it drop.
Example: ''Muslim kills 5 on bus''
'' Man kills 5 on bus''------not, ''Christian kills 5 on bus''.
There are demonstrations and conferences by Muslims that are working for peace, end of terrorism, and such. Do you hear about it? NO! But, you will always see when Muslims are demonstrating against the west.
It is so unfair of the news media. And, I am not a Muslim.

Totally agree. But what is intersting, listening to some muslim points ov view, is that by being so ignorant and so anti muslim, that they are infact creating a more polorised society which will in turn instigate a backlash that may well lead to more terrorism.
In short, those anti muslim people are there own ( and our) worst enemy
EDIT: Channah, you are spot on!

Well your username doesn't really inspire me with love!!!! lol! But seriously, I totally agree. I think a lot of stereotyping in all cases is done through ignorance. People are afraid of what they don't understand.

dont know if ur Muslim or not
but i am, so im gonna tell u from my point of view
its jus cos ppl fink dat by sterotyping other people, they jus gonna get 2 stik in wiv gangs and stuff
like when i was walkin 2 college, a truck driver stoppped his truck in a huge puddle next 2 da part of the pavement i woz walkin on, and turned his wheels, but stood there as well (dont ask me how)
he wound down his window, and shouted at me PAKI AND GO BACK 2 UR COUNTRY, he then said DONT THROW A BOMB ON ME NOW TERRORIST, JUS COS IVE DISRESPECTED U LOT
i turned around and said 2 him, im as British as he ll eva get, and dat i aint no terrorist
sometimes, i feel like i wanna stand up 4 terrorsis, yet i am against it, cos ppl like dat have really started 2 get 2 me
u know, and then we as Muslims are told 2 stand up 2 terrorism, yet they dont know wot its like in a Muslim persons boots, and being treated like the way we are by the people that are tellin us 2 stand up against terrorism

Because it is easier to label someone and be done with it than to use your own brain and realize that people are not all the same.

there are just too many ignorant and very judgemental people here who are really brainwashed by negative ideas. i agree with you. :p
