What is your nationality? I wouldn't think you would need a visa and you definitely don't if you are a European but to be safe, it's always wise to ring the embassy to make sure.

If you are an EU national, you don't need a visa to go to Prague, as the Czech Republic is now a member state.
If you are not an EU national, contact the embassy of the Czech Republic to find out what the story is for you.

It depends on your nationality, best you phone the embassy of the country you visiting they'll tell you exactly what you need, if you belong to the EU then you dont need one. Most other countries will need one. If you do need a visa you would have to book your accom and flights first before they'll issue you one... also check and see how long the waiting is for a visa appointment is before booking, because if you need one you cant make it happen overnight.

A student visa isn't an immigrant visa. the great purpose on the back of the student visa is for foreign places scholars to check good here and then bypass back to their own international places with the coaching they gained. they're not meant to stay good here purely with the help of utilising actuality they desire to. What your pal can do is marry you and then he may well be allowed to alter his status with out having to bypass away. in want of that, he has to return to China. era. Even artwork sponsorship might require him to bypass back to China. for the reason that China is a commie u . s ., he might desire to engage in some expert-democracy agitation, piss off the chinese language government and then petition for asylum. LOL. EDIT: did not advise to sound snide. i replaced into in certainty attempting to illustrate the reality that paying for eternal residency from a student visa isn't conceivable with out taking some drastic steps and that attempting to stay with a student visa to immigrate is an abuse of the technique.

That depends on where you are from originally. If you are a English national, no you wont. If you are from a state within the European union, no you wont. But you should have a passport.
If you originate from outside the euro then you would definately need additional papers
