Is there more than one doctor in the practice? If so I would try to see one of the other doctors. If not I would just go to the hospital for an evaluation. Good luck!

If you are still leaking can you catch some in a cup or something? Sounds weird I know but if it DOESN'T smell like wee then you are leaking amniotic fluid in which case you should go to the hospital and get checked out especially if you have swollen ankles etc. Did your doc check your blood pressure? I would get a new doc by the sounds of it!! Dont take any risks hun, go get checked out asap.

I had the same problem with my daughter and it was really bad. I gave my daughter a suppository twice and never again because she would cry that it burns. I had to give her a teaspoon of Karo syrup in her milk or juice or water and that helped a little. I would let my daughter sit in the bathtub with warm water when I knew she had to go and that helped. Avoid suppositories and laxatives you want her to be able to go on her own. My daughter would try pushing for hours and would be so tired and fall asleep but would go the next day. The long problem I had because she was always constipated was she continued pooping on her panties until 4 years old. I am now passed that and she goes with no problem to the toilet. The pediatrician recommended I give my daughter prune juice but she wouldn't drink it. Try avoiding low fiber foods like ice cream, cheese, meat, snacks like chips, pizza, processed foods such as instant mashed potatoes or frozen dinners. High fiber foods like Vegetables, Whole grains, Nuts, Beans, legumes, Fresh & dried fruits like raisins are good and high in fiber. I recommend checking her stomach and if it is hard try rubbing it a little and do let her walk around and play. It helps move the bowels. I know how difficult it is but from my experience it just takes a lot of patience because soon she will be stronger and will be able to digest foods better. I am sure you are giving her solids already and her digestive system is still working hard so give her lots of water. My 4 year old got so accustomed to drinking water she refuses juice but I still give her juice from time to time.

hi.
I can understand how worried you are.
I can't give you much advice about water fluid, but swollen legs are very common for the last months of pregnancy. I had the same situation. You should take care of your diet. try not to eat any salt at all and try not to drink much fluids.that's what makes your body so swollen and also your weight. try to control it. although i didn't weight too much during my pregnancy my legs were so swollen and i had to put them up a little bit high on the chair and that helped.(but don't put them up too high:) )
and my last advice would be --eat cottage cheese.as much as you can. that is very good for your baby.
good luck.
p.s and if you don't like your doctor get a new one.

I know it is late in the pregnacy to change doc
but some of them are so arrogant that they forget how to do their job
now try to relax and if you are having any more water
don't bother calling him just go to the emergency room
at the hospital where you are register
Good luck
and try to keep your feet up

Can you not see a different doctor? If all else go to the A&E department at your nearest hospital!

get to the hospital now......... and at least get checked out. screw what your dr says, your obviously worried to be asking strangers on the net that they think. dont wait any longer, you may have pre eclampsia which is life threatning, dont put your life or your babys in danger...
