with the advent of liberalisation,oppurtunities have grown for law graduates.Many MNC's and other companies recruit law graduates for their legal department.You can also try your hand at private practice.For that you have to serve as a junior to a senior lawyer for a few years and learn the tricks of the trade.this wil expose to you to real world of courtrooms.

After Implementation of Domestic Violence LAW and allready existing whole sale free lincence for wives 498a ( anti-Dowry Law) , a lot of IIT ,IIM graduate are approaching to became a Lawyer immediately , as they feel in India there will be very Good Scope to earn huge Money , as a lawyer instead of IIT and IIM Graduate.

As presently In India , the Family Dispute and Divorce in India are too less , very soon we will beat the stastics of Us , where sucessufll marriage is less then 42% and in Ireland less than 2%.

To reach that level our Goverment had comitted to beat the stastic of Us , hence instead of making a Domestic Harmony Act, they had made this Domestic Violence Act , which is nothing But a AK47 to kill any one , let it be Men/Women/Child.
Hence the Laywers profession is the Best profession will be the best profession in India in future.

See as you may be aware that crime does always exist. i feel there is a lot of scope for law students. it all depends on the lawyer under whom you do practice. always keep in mind to help the poor and it will bring you up in life.
If you really want to serve do take law as profession if not, do some MBA to earn money. just advice no personal feelings
