I don't need all this "Ctrl and whatever" - simply highlight the bit you want to copy (by left clicking and dragging over the area concerned), right click, move to "copy" and then left click. Click again to clear. When you're ready to paste, click on where you want to paste, right click, move to "Paste" and left click. Done.

Do you mean from one document on your pc to another? The programs must be compatible, left click and drag over the info you want to copy to highlight it, right click and select 'copy' insert the cursor where you want it and right click and select 'paste'

If you are talking about web pages you can copy from a page and save the info in Word.
But you can't paste info into a web page. You could link to the page on the page you're writing but you should e-mail and ask for permission first.
If you just copy someone elses's website, you'll be in trouble.

To move information between documents

Select the information you want to move.

On the Edit menu, click Copy/Cut.

Click in the document where you want the information to appear.

To Copy: Highlight an area, as shown above, then hold 'Ctrl' + 'C' (For Mac users 'Apple' + 'C').
To Paste: Click your mouse where you want the text pasted, and then press 'Ctrl' + 'V' (For Mac users 'Apple' + 'S'

yes highlight the area you want to do right click it and click copy and then go to where you want it and right click and then find paste and it should copy it over hope this helped thanks
