To Republicans, the country is a function of the market and when the market turns sour, you bail.

I don't think Republicans hate their country. They love their country and are cashing in. It reminds of a song called "The Decline" and it says, "I wish I had a schilling, for every senseless killing, I'd buy a government. America's for sale and you can get a good deal on it, and make a healthy profit." That pretty much sums up how I feel about the Republic party's view and big government neocons....

"Why do Republicans hate their country? "
Did you cheer when the USS Cole was attacked?
Do you write sweet nothings to Usama?
Did you throw a party when the Twin Towers came down?
Betcha did, and you thought Bush planted the explosives himself.
One of these days you are not going to wake up to another day in this country, because your head will be severed from your body in the name of Allah. Wanna "talk it over" with the terrorists?
I could say "Why do Democrats hate Jews and Israel?"
We know where this is going. We have a little tuckfard in Iran that says Israel should be wiped off the map....in a figure of speech. Then declares that "oh, we have a nuke program now."
Pretend we Conservatives don't care about this soil, that way you can fantasize about the good ol' days where the Islamopricks STILL wanted to behead us and you didn't care.
You must be french because you surrendered even before the war started...

I'm an Independent voter that has to tell you if you can't find anything more intelligent to say you need to get some sleep, so you can stay awake in school. Because someone disagrees with you politically does not mean they hate their country. Try not to show your lack of intelligence and knowledge of people

Its more that they place power and privelledge above doing what is right. Like religion, patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel.
But not all Republicans are extremists who seek to create one party theocracy, or wage war on the middle class and our civil rights. However key people behind the Bush adminsitration behaved like thugs or a crime syndicate. I am concerned and ask myself , that now that Bush is cornered, is he still dangerous ?

Did you just crawl out of a cave in Alaska, or is that just your feeble attempt to insult people who disagree with you?
