bring along a camera to show this exciting experience you get to have. Try things like plastic canvas and yarn or latchooks. Bring a jorunal and write in it everyday your experiences and how they made you feel and what your husband did for his job and pass that down to children and so on that would be something exciting to read many years from now. The first week will probably be just getting use to everything around you and the schedule will be different and then getting used to water movement lol. you will grow outta your land legs lol. bring crossword or word search books. and bottled water. relax enjoy what your getting ready to experience I bet it will be a blast. Good Luck and God bless. Maybe you can help the cook too. Have fun

There are so many things that you can do if you just only want to...like reading a book of your interest, do some painting if you know how, crochet, cross stitching or whatever that will keep you from boredom but at the same time fulfilling and productive. You can ask your husband's permission if he will let you wander into the kitchen to lend a helping hand sometime...or you can watch t.v. and stay idle but it will surely leads to boredom. Or...you can launder your clothes ...clean the cabin...do your aerobics...write a novel...taking care of the needs of your husband, listen to good music but never talk with other seamen onboard if you don't want to be thrown overboard by your husband . Okey? Good luck!!!

What's your hobby now? Or maybe you can learn a new hobby.
Books always keeps me occupied. Bring movies you have been hoping to watch and haven't got the time now. Bring all your skincare there and everyday you can pamper yourself with masks. Work on your tan if you'd like one.
