i ask this question because every time i am on my way to and from university i see glass, graffiti everywhere. not to mention it being constantly vandalised. don't they realise it takes london transport, thousands of pounds to build a new one? then again, by the time they build a new one, it isn't long before it is vandalised again and again.
why cannot london transport install tiny cameras for eg, just so to catch and prosecute the thugs who do this? if the purpose of having bus shelters is so that mindless yobs can abuse them, then that is just so terrible and sad. idiots who do this type of thing have no respect for private property and have no regard for other people who stand under or wait at the bus shelter. i feel angry and appalled that certain people, especially a few out of control teens, feel the need to sabatage and destroy public property. what motivates them to do these types of things, is something i and many other people would like to know.
what are your views?

I wonder why teenage vandals are allowed out in the week by their parents. Don't they have homework to do? When I was at school I did at least 2 hours homework every night, and wasn't allowed out on a 'school day'. I think the blame lies squarely at the feet of the parents of these morons for not raising their children to value education as a way out of poverty and ignorance.

I hope from reading most of these answers that you're not some little thug out to prove a point that you can do what you like and no one is going to interfere. as that seems to be the message, but to answer your question ,no I wouldn't and isnt that a sad reflection on todays society. change the bus shelter for a person and I dont know that the responses would be much different.

So many kids have useless parents these days who don't care where they go at night. The kids have nothing to do except break and vadalise stuff!! It is ridiculous. I have small children living next door to me and the 6 yr old already calls the 3yr old stupid Bas***d and the mother doesn't care!!!
Even camera would stop them because the would put their stupid hoodies over thier heads and break the camera before vandilising the rest of it so that they wouldn't be caught!!

The same type of pillock who thinks that a nice clean river environment can be improved by half a dozen shopping trolleys, a broken childs bicycle and half a sofa.
I don't know who these are exactly, but I'm all for a natural revenge - cover them with jam and leave'em for the wasps.
