the nutrients are, but not the actual nut or anything

i don't think so. all foods are being digested by the stomach, after that, digested particles or the nutrients, proteins, carbohydrates, etc. that are collected, would go with the blood to be delivered in the different parts of the body.

I could imagine that the oils would be for a start, then the protein. The fats would also be absorbed, but not sure if there is much fibre in there - but thats not absorbed anyway...
