Actually, the answer to your question is very short & simple. Egypt does not implement the Sharia as an integral part of the governing law, which means that Egypt is a semi-secular country unlike Saudi Arabia for example where the Shariaa is implemented and thus making all of the above mentioned haram or illegal.
In other words it is a free country and you also have to take into consideration that tourism is not the sector that serves alcohol and pork. All egyptians can walk into any restaurant and pub eat and drink whatever they want, so if the locals can do it, the non-muslims foreigners sure can. If people are willing to profit from it, then it is up to them to decide to do so or not.
Tell you son that sin is every where, it is up to him to decide how to handle his life and his relationship with god. If you hide the alcohol like in other countries, there are other ways to get it, get rid of prositution, you will make room for other worse things. There is no escape from sin, it is meant to be around us to tempt us, it is up to us to avoid it and adhere to our religous beliefs.

in Islam Alcohol is 100percent HARAM so the message is for each n every one the people who follow it they succed in the world and also the other one u should try to convince ur child though the logics that the people who go against the Islam in the end they felt guilty so this messages is for masses
it depend upon ur own will if u convince with Islam then u have to forbide ur self from these things
u have no any problem to interfer or think what the other do u should think what u have do so u think about ur self if u forbide n do according to Islam and Sunnah then ur the best then u should preach others to stop these thing
In Islam the holy prophet told the three steps of fait
1 if u see the vice means against islam stop it with ur power (wealth or hands or any thing else)
2 if u cant stop it then stop it from ur tounge ur words
3 n if u dont do this then u have to consider the bad in ur heart n its the weak sign of fait

fozio is right.
it is prohibited for the muslim religuously to take a booz or involve in adultery. that doesn't mean it goes for the non-muslims, right?
God prohibited the alcohol because it is danger to the society. i don't think that tourists are danger to our society...
tell your son that every one is responsible for his acts not the others, be good and dont drink!

alcohol & pornography are Haram
it's so simple,
if some one preduse alcohol Haram,
if some one carry it to some one Haram,
if some one drink it Haram.
According to pornography no matter what it looks like or how it done it's Haram for sure
so if u wanna tell your baby son any thing about it and u should, tell him if the government encorege sth like that or no matter how many peaple doing it that doesn't mean it's not Haram any more.
