It's Dundee and Dundee Utd followed by Notts Forest and Notts County, then Everton and Liverpool.
as for the idiot who thinks Chelski and Spurs are only a mile apart, buy a map or goto London, you will find they are at least 15miles apart!

Premier league, Championship, League one and League two in that order of skill, ability and wealth. You need to watch football if you can in the league you want and decide which team excites you most with their style. Most supporters stick with their home team (near where they live) but if you want to support from America why not choose where your family roots are from? Out of the top four teams in the country Manchester Utd have the most attacking style, along with Liverpool. Chelsea and Manchester City are the richest clubs now because they have been bought by billionaires that have no limit to what or who they buy. All clubs buy and sell their players after a few seasons either they want to move on to a better club so they can enhance their ability but now it is becoming more for the money that is offered. There are lots of clubs who have a great pedigree, history and some just making theirs now. Once you choose stick with them through the good and bad. Whoever it is enjoy and despair like everyone else does. That's football (soccer). I would have a look at your family links and run with that, seems a more sensible route. Real Madrid are in the Spanish league (Spain)

Dundee United & Dundee. Can't believe most people thought Liverpool & Everton.
Info: The hooligans of both sets of fans join together & only go to the away games to cause trouble. The only home games they go to is when the two teams play each other. Saw it on The Real Football Factory.

Dens Park (Dundee) and Tannadice (Dundee United) are on opposite sides of the same street but I really can't believe anyone has kicked the ball from one ground to the other. A myth?

Is British a clue? Not necessarily in England then...
But I would say Nottingham Forest and Notts County as they are on opposite sides of the river Trent.

Hmm...
In England, I think it's Liverpool and Everton, separated by Stanley Park.
In Scotland it's Dundee and Dundee United.
