How I an take Backup of Registry in win xp and Win 2003 server
please give me the steps for that.

the first way
start->run-> type "regedit"
there file -> export and save backup registy file.
the second. one you can use 3d party backup software for that for example true image

two ways, do an export on the root level using regedit, or use the built in windows backup software and capture the "system state."
