Sometimes i think the way we feel whether we have had a bad day at work, or whatever is going on in our own lives...seem to detemine what kind of answer we give, yes it can work both ways with the asking too, but it seems that so many people on here have an attitude problem when answering certain questions...it comes through in their answers......so seriously do you think your mood determines the kind of answers you give?.......no jokers please.

It's not just mood that it depends on, but yes it is that too. Obviously someone who is in a happy mood will give you a nice answer while someone who is in a bad mood or angry will want to get back at someone and so his/her answer will be criticism. As I said, it is not only based on the mood of a person being that people have different attitudes. If a person has a bad attitude and always goes around insulting people, well that's what they get their pleasure from and so they will look around for questions that they can answer in an insulting, mocking or joking way.

Yes, sometimes you can't really tell if the answerers are serious or not. I've seen a lot of very rude and cruel answers to questions on Yahoo Answers. When most people ask a question they really want a truthful answer, not some glib answer that someone has sent just for the two points. We need to learn to be more kind and thoughtful towards one another. But don't take it personally, some people are just jerks and it has nothing to do with your questions. I definitely think that mood has a lot to do with the quality of the answers. You have to be in a patient mood to answer well. Also people need to stick to their area of expertize.

I've just starting answering questions on here but I know that what you have asked is true in life and speaking to people. If I am in a bad mood then I am short and less helpful or very sarcastic. If I am in a good mood then I am more inclined to put thought and care into my answer. I think if someone is in a strange mood or a question just strikes them strangely and makes them feel the need to give a bad answer then they should just ignore the question and not feel the need to post a useless response.

I think it does in most cases. If someone is providing a lot of facts in their answer and citing sourses, and it's an idea that they already heald, then probably not.

But if it is one of the first times they heard the question, or the question makes them emotional in some way, then mood will have some play because we all say things we wished we hadn't said.

definitely..... our mood determines the kind of answers......if we are happy we will find questions which need help on emotional matters and we will start giving them hopeful answers.....if we are in bad mood we will find questions which are linked to positive living and then we will give them negative answers........actually we try to satisfy ourselves
