I know how you feel. This sort of thing happens frequently in where I come from. However, the best thing is to be bold enough and tell your parents' how you feel about the suitors and the reason you dont like them. Tell them that the most important thing in any marriage is happiness and that you will not be happy if the force the wrong suitor on you. I suggest you dont argue with them but try to let them view the matter from your perspective. Also, on a final note, look for a guy that you are compartible with and a guy you can tolerate his excess and appreciate his weakness, and most of all, look out for a guy who will make you wake up in the morning with a smile knowing that he is yours and you are his. Cheers

If you can't adjust the wavelength with the one brought to you by your parents; then there is nothing beneficial in getting tense & confused, but find one of your choice and present before the parents.

You are looking for compatibility which you didn't find in any of these guys. Specify your wavelength to your parents so that they can narrow down their choice and not go on a wild hunt. And I do hope you will get the type of guy you have in your mind. Best of luck lady.

posting this question won't help either! I understand your state, but it is you who have to take this biggest decision of your life. Try looking for a guy yourself ( its not offensive for a girl in 21 century), and trust me there doesn't exist a perfect guy, who will match all your thoughts. Whats more important is that u shud be able to respect each others' thoughts.
Sincerely
Raj

I can understand what you are going through! only solution is, talk to your parents bi\out the kind of guy you have in mind. if your family is too formal for such kind of talk then just tell them not ask any one to come and visit you for a formal girl watching cermony(or whatever its called) untill and unless you have been informally introduced to the guy.
this way you can get to knoe a person without his pretending to be the ideal match!

There is no perfection in any thing .Dreams never come true. But one can try again and again in getting his or her things. You can choose a guy who is not 100% of your choice but at least above 80% rest 20% will change him with your love and care.

Tell your requirement clearly to your parents. How do you know the wavelenghts match without moving closely. It is purely luck. So best of luck to you.
