I listened to four whole tracks on thebeatles.com and was blown away. The remix of Strawberry Fields was wonderful, and Lady Madonna was good, too. It really makes these songs sound like you've not heard them before. It's interesting to hear elements of different songs layered, and hear how they work together. I did not buy '1' as I already had all of those and would not buy another 'greatest hits', but this is really something different and exciting.

Looking forward to it. Its an soundtrack album for the upcoming Cirque De Soleil Show of the same name. Out on the 20th of November in the UK it should be fun. New mixes of old Beatles songs mostly taken from 1965-1969 period of The Beatles. with tracks taken from the best of the Beatles Albums from Revolver, Sgt.Peppers, Magical Mystery Tour, The White Album and Abbey Road. There is also a little bit of bootlegging or mashing up of some of these tracks, for example the music of Tomorrow Never Knows with the lyrics Within You Without You. Surely its a great to update these classics and it is all done under the supervision of the famous Beatles Producer George Martin, so it hopefully won't be to radical, but still something different for a change. Hopefully it will be worth the money unlike the first anthology album.

It's based on the Cirque De Soleil show in Vegas. George Martin produced it and Paul gave his blessings by going to Vegas to see the show. It was initially the late George Harrison's idea, some time ago, for a show that would combine the Cirque De Soleil spectacle with the music of the Beatles. I'm not sure this album offers any new thrills to the fans other than beeing a good souvenir to those that have seen the show.

I was in Las Vegas last week and went to see the Beatles Love show at the Mirage. The album is based on the show which was absolutely spectacular. It contained a varied pick of all the Beatles great 'love' songs. I would highly recommend buying this album!!
Perhaps the person who gave me a thumbs down would like to see this link:
http://www.mirage.com/entertainment/entertainment_cirque_du_soleil.aspx
Also a quote from the programme we bought before the show:
With love we set out to bridge the music between hearing The Beatles music and experiencing it on a more intimate level. Through technological advances musical innovation and with our profound repsect for that great band and their wonderful music we proudly present a soundscape of Beatles music that has never been heard before - especially for LOVE - George and Giles Musical Directors.
Seen the show, bought the album from the show shop.

I don`t know...If it is going to be an album with the best tracks then Ok. But if Yoko Ono wants to give another uncomplete song of John for the remaining Beatles to finish it like they did with "Free As A Bird", then no, I don`t agree with that.
John would not have wanted that for sure!

nicely you realize for human beings like me who have been there throughout the time of the entire factor i might could say that is tremendously much impossible to come to a decision on. you spot in case you realize how good the 1st American album, Meet The Beatles become while in comparison with something obtainable then you definately ought to declare it become the suitable through fact it presented us to the Beatles and wow, become it thrilling. even with the undeniable fact that, in case you look at Revolver or Rubber Soul and you spot how they replaced music, helped it evolve, then you definately might %. certainly one of them. Then others think of Sgt Pepper become a revolution in music jointly as others love the White Album. yet for me Abbey street is the main finished album because it has a sprint of all the above. Rock n Roll, mind's eye, and of direction the suite that is masterful on the 2d section. forced to come to a decision on i might %. Abbey street yet i might take each different album and be merely as happy.
