As we grow up there is things that happen around us that we like, dislike, & things we can live with. It might come in any form & does keep flowing in. In your case it’s your friend who if I understand right does spend quality time[per your satisfaction] with you but has taken a passion to his latest calling in the form of Wrestling.

You first need to decide on what you expect from him, & if the expectations are something that you both would enjoying doing. Do not convey that to him immediately

First talk to him about wrestling, know the rules, ask him about the tricks he has in his plate. You might start enjoying it. Once you have contributed enough on the topic of wrestling which is his interest.

Then you might want to convey the suggestion you had in mind about doing some thing other than wrestling during the time you two are together & request him to allot some time for your suggestion.

Hope this helps

To be the best and compete at his level he needs to practice until all his moves become second nature ( I come from a wrestling family) If you support him and let him know you are proud of him when he is not actually wrestling (grin) believe me he will appreciate it and will remember you when the season comes that he is not wrestling 24/7.

Please leave him alone. Wrestling is a fine sport...I hope he wins nationals my dad won Nationals in college and was on the olympic team (as 2nd back up) in the late 70's. My brother won states 6 times in a row and he is 17, he has a full scholarship to the University Of Pittsburgh...so wrestling ain't bad.

No you shouldn't scold him. You have to understand something wrestling is probably something he has wanted to do all his life. And the fact that hes in the champions or whatever you have to respect that. Practicing day and night is what he needs to do he's learning more tricks and thats important to him. Yes you probably miss him but when he has time to be with you then he'll have time. Justt support him.

You are his best friend. You should support and help him out. His success will be your success too; that is if you truly consider yourself a best friend. because a best friend wants you to succeed and help you reach your goals. Imagine! being in a national competition.. If you were in his place , wouldn't you want your best friend being there at your side, even if only to cheer?
Be there for him and he will appreciate it a lot.

No. He likes wrestling, and so what? Leave him alone, if you are fed up with him liking wrestling, than i suggest you should look for other friends.

Let him follow his dreams. Some day some training camp will destroy all his hopes and he will come back to you and need you for moral support.
