Think about it. Only kids and immature adults play the violent video games where people deal drugs, get lap dances, shoot cops, steal cars - then at the end of the advertisement it says, "rated M for mature".
I'm mature, and I wouldn't dream of wasting my hard-earned mony on garbage like that.
Heck, even my teenager doesn't play those because of how stupid they are.
I'm not talking about ALL "shoot-em-up" video games, just the ones that glorify drugs, raping women, stealing; oh wait, that's almost all of them, huh.

Well, "mookvey" I don't watch movies like "the fast & the furious" or the latest "homie" movies that glorify gang-bangers, if that's what you mean.
I own 'The Godfather' movies because it doesn't "glorify" violence as much as depict what happens when you live a life like that.

HA. That's silly talk. Everyone loves video games; people that don't just haven't found a game they have really liked yet. The only immature part of playing games would be letting them control your life and excessively playing them (meaning literally all day long).

i like some grand theft auto down time -- being an adult video game player i usually look for critics scores before i buy a game. do immature people do that? grand theft autos have really high ratings across the board.
I also like katamari damacy -- probably the most non violent game out -- unless you count rolling everything and everyone up in a ball violent. maybe mary kate and ashley are less voilent but i really don't plan to find out.

Well that's a loaded question if ever I read one.

I don't suppose any answer to the contrary is going to convince you of video games' worth, but I wonder whether you also avoid most hollywood films, most television etc.

The argument that video games glorify and encourage violence etc is completely short-sighted - If people can't distinguish between fantasy and reality then they already have a problem which is just as likely to be triggered by... I dunno... watching what the US army have been getting up to in Iraq.

For one thing, its A form Of release when you play these types of games.when i am angry at somthing or somone, I take it out on
the game Vs taking it out on family memebers or Alchohol beverages,It's only a game if you were raised correctly your morals will not allow you to act out these fantasy games in the real world.Unless you were Alredy corrupted, these games will then give you an excuse to act out your fantasy.Thank
