Has anyone noticed or got daft lyrics in songs? For example:

Califonia Dreamin':
'Stopped into a church, i passed along the way' did they stop,or pass!!

Dignity, Deacon Blue
'He never let on, but i know cos he once told me' if he NEVER let on, why did he tell you??

I love it when you call, The Feeling
'I love it when you call x3
But you never call at all' if they've never called, how does he know he loves it??

I'm confused.
Any More??

Can`t remember the "singer"; late 60`s early 70`s
I left my cake out in the rain.
I don`t know if I can take it ,
`cause it took so long to bake it,
and I`ll never find the recipe again

and it was a big hit!

'Life' by Desree

"I'm afraid of the dark, especially when i'm in the park,
and there's no-one else around, oooh I get the shivers.
I don't want to see a ghost, it's the sight that i fear most,
rather have a piece of toast, watch the evening news".
