YES and NO!!
YES, Forgiveness is always best!
NO it doesn't nesasarily mean he doesn't respect you
IT MEAN'S HES HUMAN AND MADE A MISTAKE WOULD
YOU WANT TO BE FORGIVEN IF IT WAS THE OTHER WAY
AROUND?
Communicate your feeling to your friend tell him how much he hurt you and how disrespected you felt! If your friendship is something important to you and he is someone you want as a part of your life let him know that you FORGIVE HIM but that you don't EXSPECT nor will you EXCEPT being treated that way again that if it does HE will be deciding/choosing that your friendship is not something he wants to continue with. That you deserve better then that and will under no circumstances put up with that kind of sh#%... from him or anyone else for that matter that if you did then YOU wouldn't be able to have any respect for yourself.
Hopefully you don't treat others that way either and if by chance you do then it might be time to take a good hard look at yourself and ask yourself .....
1. What kind of person am I?
2. What kind of person do I want to be?
3.How doe's it or is it making the other person feel?
4.How would you feel if it were being done to you?

DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD
HAVE OTHERS DO UNTO YOU.

TURN THE OTHER CHEEK
Great words to live by can you imagine what the world
would be like if we all lived by them?!

Forgiveness is cleansing to the soul
You May or MAY NOT hurt the other person
by not forgiving them but you WILL hurt yourself!

Forgive, if it was in the heat of the moment.
But if he swears/ shouts a lot, you should say something to him.

forgive him. sometimes people loose their temper without being aware of it, try and find out what had happened before you even spoke, then make it clear that he aught not to take it out on you but should have talked to you about the matter and resolve it. the fact that he after wards realize that he was wrong and apologized simply means he possibly did not mean all that he said, but warn him lest he does it again. but forgive him.

i always say that swearing is a freedom of expression..but i cant accept if any of my friends will swear at me in the middle of an argument, or when angry... that is just disrespectful....and u have all the right to be hurt...sometimes hurtful words cant just be taken back....an apology is not enough...he should prove to u that he is still worthy to be your friend and if he can promise that he will not swear at you ever again

He doesn't respect you. You're right. Nobody has the right to shout and swear at someone else, unless maybe they've done them a great wrong.

To forgive is sublime, or so they say.
I would forgive him....once or twice.....not if it keep reoccuring. He did apologise. You have the politeness to accept his apology and forget it. Just don't let it happen again.

forgive and forget, there could be a day when you upset them, how would you feel if you apologised and they didn't accept, lifes way to short for you to dwell on this , forgive and move on with your friendship -- take care
