He did not.
He had extremely big hands and only he could play some of his works. Anyone else would need 6th finger, so for that reason he was called Devil's Fiddler.

6 fingers? Another legend I suppose.
By the way legends are not always true. Thay are more often not true.

dont know if he did but most "extra" fingers are just little nubs sticking out of the side of the hand.not fully funtioning fingers.i had a teacher with one.
