If you want India be a un-corrupted Nation, Young people must take responsibility. For that as a politician you can mobilise the people well towards un-corrupted Nation, but you must be a honest person. At the same time you can direct the IAS also.

If you are polite - be an IAS
If you are arrogant - be a politician
If you want to be kicked - be an IAS
If you want to kick others - be a politician
An IAS remains a servant for ever
The Politician, illiterate though, is the boss
Now, the choice is yours

A dilemma between the devil and the deep sea.
We had a committed and efficient bureacracy, immediately after Independece. Now, the politicians have corrupted them completely, beyond a point of no return.

If you have sombody from your family (like father or brother or uncle) in politics then Politics is the best option.
But, if you don't have anybody then IAS is the best option.
Remember, in both the cases it is difficult to improve, if you are honest.
