It can happen because in a T20 games a ball takes more pounding in 10 overs that a ball will take in about 25 overs in a One day. Reverse swing is an art , you have to look after the ball keep it shining from one side , try to throw it on the pitch (the side pitch which are usually 2 or 3 on either side of the playing surface ) that makes it rough too. You have to apply some common sense man , apart from the scientific rules . Cricket is not just a bat and a ball in hand ,its a game that has to be played in the mind , you have to work on the ball to get it reverse swinging ,and that is totally within the laws of the game. Malinga said that reverse swing is possible in the 10th over , and I can bet he knows more about cricket then you (because he is a cricketer and 2nd he is not a cheat like you , stop using dual profiles idiot.) Pakistan Rocks!!

Swing bowling is a technique used by the Fast Bowlers in Cricket. There is conventional swing as well as reverse swing.

Normal swing occurs mostly when the ball is fairly new. As it wears more, the aerodynamics of the asymmetry change and it is more difficult to extract a large amount of swing.

When the ball becomes very old—around 40 or more overs old (although Andrew Flintoff and Simon Jones have been known to produce reverse swing in balls as young as 15 overs old [1]),it can begin to swing towards the polished side rather than the rough side. This is known as reverse swing. In essence, both sides have turbulent flow, but here the seam causes the airflow to separate earlier on one side. The result is always a swing to the side with the later separation, so the swing is away from the seam. See External Links

Reverse swing is difficult to achieve consistently, as it relies on uneven wear of the ball, tends to occur mostly in hot, dry weather conditions, and requires bowling at high speed. Normal swing can be achieved at relatively moderate bowling speeds, but only the fastest bowlers can regularly produce reverse swing.

Reverse swing tends to be stronger than normal swing, and to occur late in the ball's trajectory. This gives it a very different character to normal swing, and because batsmen experience it less often they generally find it much more difficult to defend against. It is also possible for a ball to swing normally in its early flight, and then to reverse as it approaches the batsman, giving its trajectory an S-shape through the air.

Notable practitioners of reverse swing have mostly been Pakistani fast bowlers. Sarfraz Nawaz and Imran Khan are often credited as the first bowlers to produce reverse swing, and they have been followed by bowlers such as Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Irfan Pathan, Aaqib Javed, Shoaib Akhtar, Ajit Agarkar, Darren Gough, Andrew Flintoff and Simon Jones.

Reverse swing is one where the ball is pitched in by the bowler on the seam and it tends to swing in the other direction. for example if the ball is pitched for swinging outside it tends to swing in and deceive the batsman and it not only used to get the last batsman out it will help u to get even the best batsman out and the best example is Andrew Flintoff and his bowling to the aussies in the last ashes series.

Its the lead up to a batting attempt. This move isnt really used much in cricket, unless youre a weak player going against a strong bowler. This is to prevent 1) getting stumped out, and 2) the ball ricocheting off the bat so you can be caught out.
