by love life, if you mean marriage etc., I would choose love because there are many people out there that choose careers and end up rich but lonely and depressed.

Nonsense. You offer no details. Are you asking us whether there is always a single best choice in such a situation? Of course not.

For some, the whole point to their life is their career, and if their loved one cannot go along, they must go anyway. A person who falls in love with a seriously dedicated person must accept that from the start. On the other hand, for some people, the term is not so much "career" as "job," and if the choice has to come, the one they love is more important, because "Oh, heck, I can always get another job." Often enough, it is true. Sometimes they suffer for it.

People have to base critical decisions on a weighing of all the factors at the time the critical decision is needed. They cannot do an over-simplified slogan approach to decisions and avoid making total fools of themselves at times. Such decisions can be not only harmful, but fatal.

Both. Just need to create some balance between the both. Your partner should be understanding and want to support you in your career as you in theirs.

career.

reason: in todays 'real' world, it is very difficult to MAINTAIN a good love life without having made your career and a good present as well as a promising optimistic future. thats just how it is in our materialistic world today. told cold like it is.

You need both because one of the greatest problems in a relationship is the lack of money. Romantic love is fine but nothing kills it of quicker than the worry and stress of not being able to pay your mortgage and other bills.
