it still looks ok... but when i watch videos in a well-lit area i can see the scratches.... which i hate to see....... (they are all over the place)

This was done on a 1st generation iPod Nano, but I think it should work for the iPod Video as well.

it is quite lots no longer a danger. i do no longer advise the cheap cleaners for removing scratches. I somewhat have heard such a lot of memories of ways those made it worse! in case you're in desperate desire, pass to an Apple shop and spot what they advise. they might comprehend greater useful than every person else!

there is a goopy polish you can buy that they also use for eyeglass lenses. you smear it on, and then polish it off. it supposedly fills the microscopic gaps in the plastic with a similar compound, and then it sets. you'll have to google it
