While there has been many best players in the world of cricket till now, when you rate somebody as the best player, I feel it should be based on facts and figures.
Based on the above theory, I consider Sachin Tendulkar as the best player in the World Cricket as on today due to following reasons:
1) He is the holder of most centuries in Test Cricket (35) and
in One Day Internationals (40)
2) He holds the record of most runs in One Day internationals.
3) He is a utility bowler too.
