Mate is flying to South Africa and wanted to see if i could see where abouts he is in his flight!

Well for £30 you can buy software that shows you live tracking information on any aircraft in the world. So it is possible, also there is a US version online that lets you monitor Flights. Also Yahoo do a tracker but i cannot find one for Africa flights

I looked at one the other day,but it was 10hrs. out of date. It said for security reasons

if you go on to the airport he is flying into some offer a text sevice that texts you what time the plane will land etc and if its running later etc. other than that im not really sure

I don't think these would be available online. Somehow I think that they could be abused in the wrong hands.........
