I am against the death penalty. Even in case of such violent and unhuman behavior as Saddm has shown.

I completely agree that he should "pay" for his actions in the past and I totaly agree that he should be punished for what he did.
But I believe that live sentence, or else prison doom for life is worse than death. The notion that one has to face permenent ascetism and absolute lack of freedom and conection with the real life/world is a killer itself.

I believe that evil orginates more evil, nevertheless if we have the choice to draw the line and limit its spread we would be right. So it would be better not to inspire more hatred and disgust and death, but to take the right decision.

And what if he is to be killed, so what?
What lesson will be learnt?- Not to be a murderous dictator anymore?, or Bad guy always die? -Come on, every smart man can draw a sensible conclusion by himself!

So what it would be? Death again? Aren't you fed up with all that blood shed around? I am and I think it should stop!

i'm only subject concerning the destiny repercusssions on different loonies like Saddam. what form of message does this deliver to Kim Jong ll or the Iranian President? Do you think of they are going to be scared or understanding that they are going to be killed in any case, they are going to combat to the death. Kim Jong ll is familiar with that he would be positioned to death if seize, he probably could launch each and all of the nukes North Korea has previously giving up, ditto for the Iranian government. once you thinkg approximately that, you're able to comprehend there isn't lots to have fun.

Personally I'd make him do first level phone tech support for a product he's never heard of...in a language he doesn't speak. When he gets an answer wrong, or fails to properly respond to a caller, you activate the electrodes on his balls. Just enough to sear the skin a little.

Move the electrodes as needed.

If he ever goes more than an hour without a shock, switch the product he's supporting and/or the caller's language without telling him.

Make him do this 16 hours a day.

During his 8 hours off, provide his convicted, violent, sex offender cellmates with viagra and duct tape as needed.

He will eventually commit suicide, thus saving us the trouble of hanging him.

I am not much into international politics but my gut feeling says that he is not being given fair trial. Constantly, I am having dreams of stabbing, gore and extreme violence and in dreams I relate it all to Saddam's death. I cannot say for sure though because I not a psychic.

it is the right thing to do, he killed so many people. But unlike Bush (who has killed so many Iraqi's and Afghani's), he did not destroy Iraq but develop it. Seriously both Bush and Saddam are guilty of the same crime, Crimes against Humanity, so both should be hanged together, but then who's going to clear up the mess in Iraq if Bush goes, well we'll let him stay for another year until he clears up the mess in Iraq.

Put him in back power where he belongs. He'll clear up the insurgence, by familiar methods, and still have time in the day to trim his beard, watch Oprah and practice his breast stroke. If the Iraqi people still want to hang him after that, so be it.
