Both are great movies though books are better because movies leave certain parts out. you get more out of books. The movie ending to LOTR is so different to the book.

I prefer books since they are much detailed and you can freely visualize them in your head. A lot of parts in the books were edited or removed to make the story more.. well, less complicated, shorter, etc.But I also love the movie versions, especially since I haven't read most of their books. Plus it's fun to see them in action! ;)

im not a fond reader of long books. i dnt have that much patience so i prefer d movies
